Shahrin Johry's -KA- opens in January 2016, featuring an ensemble of artists: Maya Dance Theatre, Star Guo, Gianti Giadi (Indonesia) and his mentors; Kavitha Krishnan and Susan Yeung, with music collaboration by Bani Haykal and Kailin Yong and dramaturgy by Neo Kim Seng.
The presentation is coupled with a photographic exhibition of the process of the production by photographer, Tan Ngiap Heng.

Recently crowned Dance Singapore Dance winner and National Arts Council's SPROUTS All Star 2012 Most Promising Choreographer, Shahrin Johry, talks to us about his thoughts and inspirations behind his debut full-length production,- KA-, to be presented at the Drama Centre Black Box from 15-16 January 2016.
The call is open to dance creators for RELEASE 5.0, an annual choreographic showcase in Singapore in March 2016.
We are looking for short dance works, fully developed, original and previously presented.
Selected applicants will perform alongside a group of curated artists in a total of 03 (three) performances in the creators' dance project, Release 5.0 from 11-12 March 2016 in Singapore.

What is MOVE?
[MOVE] is a mentorship and training program organised by Maya Dance Theatre, and taught by professional dancers and choreographers. [MOVE] had its pilot program in 2015, [MOVE] 2016 is the second season.
